The 43rd Annual Tournament of Roses Bandfest was a great testament to this year's Rose Parade theme, "Celebrating a World of Music: The Universal Language."
Bands from 11 U.S. states plus Costa Rica, Japan and the United Kingdom delighted spectators with a wide range of musical styles and colorful costuming.
The bands performed field exhibitions for sold-out crowds and marched in parade formation past the stands to another universal language: thunderous applause.
The 2023/2024 Bandfest featured 18 of the
Rose Parade bands over three shows.
