It was another great year for DCI fans who were entertained by quality performances separated by razor-thin scoring margins, especially among the top four corps.
Although fans missed the presence of annual contender Santa Clara Vanguard which took the year off, multiple corps reached new levels of quality. Mandarins continued its multi-year surge, ranking among the Top 6 for the first time. Colts scored above 90 points for the first time in its history, and joined the Troopers in maintaining Top 12 status for the second consecutive year.
The Cavaliers percussion section dominated the season with a drumline that touched perfection and claimed the top percussion award for 2023.
