After a canceled event in 2020 and a scaled-down event without spectators in 2021, the Corso Zundert flower parade made a joyful return to the street in 2022.
Neighborhood teams brought their creative ideas to life as towering sculptures covered with up to 500,000 dahlia blooms and rising up to three stories tall.
First prize and People's Choice went to "Freeland Festival" which featured three animated floats, exuberant music and a huge cast of costumed performers.
Second prize overall plus third place in the People's Choice voting went to "Growth Model" depicting a unique perspective of flowering trees.
Other top winners included "Holyphant" (third prize), "Night Watchmen" (fourth prize) and "Birds of Paradise" (fifth prize plus second place People's Choice).
All 20 floats are pictured here in order of appearance. Also see
