(November 10-12, 2022, Indianapolis, Indiana)
Marching bands from 20 states delivered impressive, innovative and emotional performances, making audience members the true winners at the 2022 BOA Grand National Championships.
The colorful and energetic "Urban Legend" from Tarpon Springs (FL) continued to elevate the concept of show design, and the flawless delivery of "Vitruvian" from Carmel (IN) affirmed why the band was once again named
Grand National Champion. Proving you don't need a big band to be successful, 36-member Archbishop Alter (OH) earned huge ovations and the Class A Champion title with its Stevie Wonder tribute "Overjoyed."
The 2022
Bands of America Grand National Championships featured 103 marching bands including 99 competing bands plus exhibition units.
