NEW YORK (Nov. 22, 2024) As the nation gathers to celebrate and give thanks with family and friends, the
98th Annual
Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade returns to the streets of New York City
on Thursday, November 28 at 8:30 AM.
This year's annual Thanksgiving Day telecast will feature performances by musical icons Jennifer Hudson, Kylie Minogue and Billy Porter along with new floats,
new giant character balloons and some of the nation's best marching bands, including Avon High School (Indiana) which was just crowned the Bands of America
Grand National Champion on November 19.
"A dedicated team of artisans and production experts at Macy's Studios work year-round to bring this experience to life," said Executive Producer Will Coss.
"This year's 98th Macy's Parade will create awe with unforgettable character balloons, one-of-a-kind floats and the world-class entertainment only Macy's can deliver."
The parade lineup for 2024 features 17 giant balloons, 11 marching bands, 27 floats plus specialty units, 700 clowns, 15 novelty balloons plus a host of celebrity performers.
Macy's Parade Route Map
The 98th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will step off at 77th Street and Central Park West at 8:30 AM. The procession will travel down to
Columbus Circle, turn onto Central Park South and march down 6th Avenue/Avenue of the Americas. At 34th Street,
the parade will make its final turn west and end at 7th Avenue in front of Macy's Herald Square.
NBC Telecast 8:30 AM to 12 PM in All Time Zones, Also Streaming on Peacock
Americans coast-to-coast can share in the magic of the parade through NBC-TV's national telecast hosted by the TODAY Show's Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Al Roker.
The telecast will air from 8:30 AM to 12 Noon in all time zones, with an encore telecast scheduled at 2:00 PM. Fans can also stream the broadcast on Peacock. The Spanish language simulcast on Telemundo will be
hosted by the network's daytime personalities, Carlos Adyan and Andrea Meza.
The national broadcast will showcase Broadway's "Death Becomes Her," "Hell's Kitchen" and "The Outsiders" as well as the iconic Radio City Rockettes.
