Planned order of march announced for Inaugural Parade lineup
WASHINGTON, DC (January 17, 2017) The Presidential Inaugural Committee has announced the complete lineup of groups and the marching order
planned for the 2017 Presidential Inaugural Parade on Friday, January 20. The lineup features 23 marching bands including military, college, high school and civic bands from across the nation.
More than 8,000 people will follow President Trump and Vice President Pence after the swearing-in ceremony as they proceed 1.5 miles from the Capitol to the White
House on Pennsylvania Avenue, continuing the tradition that began with Thomas Jefferson in 1801.
Each branch of the military will pay tribute to our country by doing a flyover at the appropriate point when their branch is represented in the parade.
The President, Vice President, and their families will watch the processional from the reviewing stand in front of the White House.
The estimated start time for the parade is 3:00 PM (Eastern) on Friday, January 20.
