Two-day event takes place in Edward Jones Dome October 16-17
ST. LOUIS (Oct. 15, 2015) The first Bands of America "Super Regional" of the 2015 season takes place this weekend at the Edward Jones Dome in downtown St. Louis. Sixty-four bands will perform in preliminary events on Friday and Saturday, with
the top 14 bands advancing to the finals contest on Saturday evening.
The Murray State University Racer Band from Murray, Kentucky, will perform in exhibition at 4:15 PM Saturday at the conclusion of the preliminary contest.
With bands coming from 15 states, the St. Louis event features the most diverse lineup of this year's 19 Bands of America regional and super regional events. Only the
BOA Grand National Championships is a bigger draw, with bands from 21 states (including Alaska and Hawaii) currently registered for the event to be held November 11-14 in Indianapolis.
Bands performing in St. Louis represent Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee and Texas.

Tickets will be available at the gate. Standard general admission is $18 for preliminaries on Friday and $20 for preliminaries on Saturday, $24 for finals or $51 for a day pass to both. Children ages 10 and under are free for general admission
seats. A $5 off any general admission ticket (individual preliminaries, finals or full day passes) discount will be available at the gate for college students, spectators 11-18 years of age, military members and spouses (military ID required) and spectators age 62 and over.
