Claim "Fame" for your band in Halftime Magazine


Your band could win a private screening of the new movie Fame

Fame Movie Poster Hurry! The deadline to enter is August 10, 2009.

Halftime Magazine, in conjunction with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, is giving your band a chance to win a private screening of the new movie, Fame, which opens in theatres September 25.

Simply craft a brief essay that answers the question, "How does being in a marching band inspire you in your life?" The essay contest is open to students ages 14 and up who are participating in marching band this fall.

The grand prize winner will receive a private screening of Fame. Additional winners will receive prizes such as soundtracks, t-shirts and subscriptions to Halftime Magazine.
