2018/2019 Tournament of Roses "Bandfest" Performance Schedule


Three shows feature field exhibitions by Rose Parade bands

International bands are a vibrant addition to Bandfest, with groups from Canada, Costa Rica, Japan, Puerto Rico and Sweden among this year's lineup. (Dec. 27, 2018) — Marching bands appearing in the 2019 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade on January 1 will also perform field exhibitions in the annual Tournament of Roses "Bandfest" presented by Remo on December 29-30, 2018. This year's lineup includes bands from Canada, Costa Rica, Japan, Puerto Rico, Sweden and across the USA.

Each performance of Bandfest features a different slate of marching bands and lasts approximately two and a half hours. The first performance will be held Saturday, December 29 at 1:30 PM. Two additional performances will be held Sunday, December 30 at 9:30 AM and 2:00 PM. Pre-show entertainment featuring Remo Percussion and the Arcadia High School drumline begins 30 minutes before each show time.

Bandfest is held in Pasadena at Robinson Stadium on the campus of Pasadena City College, 1570 E. Colorado Blvd.

Tickets to the event are $15 each and may be purchased in advance through Sharp Seating Company at 626-795-4171. Children ages five and under are admitted free of charge. Tickets may also be purchased at the venue beginning 30 minutes prior to the performance time, pending availability. Note that advance tickets are highly recommended as Session 2 is already sold out and the other sessions are nearing capacity. Free parking is available onsite in the Lot 4 parking structure.

The Pasadena Tournament of Roses is a volunteer organization that annually hosts the Rose Parade® presented by Honda, Rose Bowl Game® presented by Northwestern Mutual and various associated events. The 130th Rose Parade, themed The Melody of Life, will take place Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019, at 8 a.m. (PST) featuring majestic floral floats, high-stepping equestrian units and spirited marching bands. Following the Rose Parade, the 105th Rose Bowl Game will begin with pre-game festivities at 1:00 p.m. (PST) and feature an exciting match-up between Ohio State and Washington.
