2015/2016 Tournament of Roses "Bandfest" Performance Schedule

Three shows feature field exhibitions by Rose Parade bands

International bands are a vibrant addition to Bandfest, with groups from Guatemala, Mexico and Japan among this year's lineup. Pictured: Mexico's Banda Musical Delfines performed last year. PASADENA, Calif. (Dec. 7, 2015) — Marching bands appearing in the 2016 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade on January 1 will also perform field exhibitions in the annual Tournament of Roses "Bandfest" presented by Remo on December 29-30, 2015.

Each performance of Bandfest features a different slate of marching bands and lasts approximately two hours. The first performance will be held Tuesday, December 29 at 1:30 PM. Two additional performances will be held Wednesday, December 30 at 9:30 AM and 2:00 PM. Pre-show entertainment presented by Remo begins 30 minutes before each show time.

Bandfest is held in Pasadena at Robinson Stadium on the campus of Pasadena City College, 1570 E. Colorado Blvd.

Tickets to the event are $15 each and may be purchased in advance through Sharp Seating Company at 626-795-4171. Children ages five and under are admitted free of charge. Tickets may also be purchased at the venue beginning 30 minutes prior to the performance time, pending availability. Free parking is available onsite in the Lot 4 parking structure.

Update December 27: In a late development, Latin Band Pedro Molina from Guatemala was unable to secure travel visas and will not be attending.

The Pasadena Tournament of Roses is a volunteer organization that annually hosts the Rose Parade® presented by Honda, Rose Bowl Game® presented by Northwestern Mutual and various associated events. The 127th Rose Parade, themed Find Your Adventure, will take place Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, at 8 a.m. (PST) featuring majestic floral floats, high-stepping equestrian units and spirited marching bands. Following the Rose Parade, the 102nd Rose Bowl Game will begin with pre-game festivities at 1:30 p.m. (PST) and feature an exciting match-up between Iowa and Stanford.
